These may include mushrooms, sweet potatoes, or zucchini, which may be prepared with a light batter or baked in an oven with a light coat of oil and garnished with a dry, shredded cheese. These are great alternates to traditional fries made from white potatoes, as they have fewer carbohydrates and less fatty oil used in preparation.

This type of eating has many health benefits and is easy on the wallet. Preparation is easy and there are not as many long term risks that are brought on with ongoing meat consumption. On a final not, it proves that anyone can enjoy their favorite foods without the guilt.
