In-depth Analysis On Conversations About Things That Matter To God

By Jason Hayes

Most believers are usually puzzled with the idea of pleasing God making them go to great lengths to fulfill this desire. A common topic held among believers is conversations about things that matter to God. This has become a very heated topic among believers with many of them having different opinions with regards to the matter. Below are a few of the views from such conversations.

Trust forms a backbone for any believers walk of righteousness. According to the bible, the scriptures describe God as our father and we as his children and that he will protect us from our enemies and help us solve all our problems if we put our trust wholly on him. Having courage and believing He is on our side should be the ultimate driving force to fully rely on him.

Compassion is very important. According to the bible Jesus came to the world to suffer for our sins a sign showing God appreciates and values acts of mercy. As a believer we should not be focused on just doing great things but instead remember the unfortunate in our society such as the poor. By serving them and making them comfortable we are serving God.

Humility pleases the eyes of God. According to the books of the bible, God encourages people not to be amused and over fascinated by the positions they hold or even the progress made in life. In the eyes of God we are all the same and God requires us to always remember this even when serving in senior positions.

It is important to ensure we are just in our ways even when we are persuaded not to. Justice especially for the disadvantaged in society such as the poor greatly pleases God and an individual who observes this will be doing a deed that will definitely fulfill their desire to please God. As a way of promoting justice in a biblical point of view, the scripture states that we should not accept bribes as they blind the eye of the wise and twist the words of the righteous.

Remembrance and gratitude; God is after our desire to acknowledge what he has done in our lives. We should not take it for granted. This can be done by simple offerings or just a prayer to thank God for what he has done. A heart that remembers is one that touches God and by doing this we will surely have made God happy.

God values obedience more than the great deeds which most people strive to accomplish in order to please God. In the bible, the scriptures state that obedience is better than sacrifice clearly showing that even though we may want to do great things, a simple act of obedience is enough to please God.

For those with the desire to please God, the path is usually very clear. It only requires one to follow simple rules and with the patience and sacrifice one is sure to end up pleasing God with his day to day life.
