Make An Extra Profit With 5x Big T Shirts

By Janet Cook

Body shapes and sizes can vary from one individual to another and this can be seen anytime a person tunes into any medium. At one time, models and actresses were required to be lean and fit but these days, the diversity in sizing reflects most of the general public. These days, clothing like 5x big t shirts can be found at many retailers and does not require a mail order.

Everyone can appreciate a tee that is at least one size larger than the size they usually wear. These are ideal for working out, as unsightly bulges can be concealed and make for a better workout session. People also like to wear this as a bathing suit cover in the warmer months. Even if a person is not considered plus size, they may find themselves shopping for larger tees because they make an affordable fashion staple.

These are also easy to decorate or style according to taste. Although most retailers carry extra large shirts with wonderful graphic art, people can make their own statement by adding things like watercolors, sequins, or a mix of decorative items. One easy style is the worn look, where holes and tears are placed strategically.

Urban styles also call for oversized attire and athletic shoes that are color coordinated. Although the styles have changed slightly over the years, it seems to be a mainstay of most younger people and some adults. At one time, young people wore clothes so large that they literally fell off but this was one of those fashion fails that was more impractical than anything.

Even though larger sizes became the norm as decades passed, these were not always easy to find in smaller towns. There may have been an independent store or small chain that catered to plus or extended sizes but sometimes the inventory may have been limited. Few of these places carried a lot in the way of casual clothing and while it was uncommon for a child to be larger than normal, they had even fewer choices.

While women may have more different body shapes, men are pretty much built the same except for small details that can affect how clothes look. For instance, those with narrow shoulders will not wear a blazer the same as someone with broad shoulders. If larger shoulder pads do not do the trick, then a different style suit would be needed.

Sometimes, it is not as easy as just hemming a bottom or adding a piece of fabric. Areas like the arms or hips may need to be tailored when it comes to certain designers. In the 1990s, some designers began making bottoms for those who are petite or tall but today, these specialty sizes are mostly found online instead of brick and mortar stores.

It may also help to have different lengths in stock, as some buyers may also be very tall in stature. One way to gauge what a certain audience may like, it helps to browse online clothing sites for larger sizes. Descriptions and customer feedback are sure to provide a wealth of information.
