The Core Beliefs Of First Baptist Church San Antonio TX

By Jason Turner

The most powerful human sense is belief. It is something innate. It is that little, silent and still voice but it can do wonders in the life of a person. Staunch Christian believers will not walk by sight but they will walk by the sense of their belief. They will see great things before their eyes and hear many amazing things because of their deep Christian belief. As for a true follower of a First Baptist Church San Antonio TX, Christian beliefs found in the Holy Bible are held dear. They are treasured beyond everything in the present day life.

The core Baptist belief is that one should be baptized. This involves immersion into water. One will enter the water as old creature and will come out of it as a new creature. Baptism will mark the start of a new life. Even in the Bible, it is said that a human being should be born again if he hopes to see eternity.

The single most important thing that will ever happen in the life of a believer is baptism. Nothing else will be as significant as the baptism by fire and the baptism by water because they facilitate the cleansing of sin and the subsequent acceptance as a child of the kingdom. Baptism cannot be undone. It is the true mark of the believer.

He who is baptized becomes as white as snow. All his sins are erased and forgiven. Sin is bad. It is the reason for all the problems in the world. The first humans sinned in a bad way and humans continue to sin and fall out of grace. After baptism is a chance to embrace a life of holiness and repentance.

Another important Baptist belief is the belief in the Holy Bible. A true Christian accepts the supremacy of the Bible. This holy book plays a central role in his life. It guides his day to day behavior and is the lamp of his feet. Heaven and earth will pass away but no single Biblical truth will pass without being fully fulfilled.

At the start, there was the creation process. That is documented in the Book of Genesis. After Genesis, the journey of the chosen people to the Promised Land is fully explained. The Old Testament comes to an end with the book of Malachi. The New Testament starts on a point of promise and also ends with the promise of the New Jerusalem.

The signs of the end are very clear. There will be suffering and distress all over the world and then the end will come and it will be a moment of great joy to the believer because it will mark the end of all the suffering and the start of a blissful life. Blessed are those who will be granted entry to eternity.

Christianity is a force that cannot be stopped. Many powerful kings tried to stop Christianity but they have failed miserable. Presently, more than half of the population of the world is made up of Christian believers. There are a number of Christian denominations. The major one is the Catholic Church. First Baptist church is part of the Protestant denomination. There is also Adventism.
