How Do I Start Taking To God All My Needs

By Joanna Walsh

There are times when life is difficult until you have no idea what you can do except think of your problems. If you are one of those people who are asking how do I start taking to God my problems, it is time you stop asking the heavy question and learn how to take your burdens to the cross of Christ. It is at the cross where you will see the light, and you can be sure that the burdens of your heart will be lifted away.

There is no problem in the world that does not have a solution. There are problems that we can solve on our own, but there are just those that you cannot solve on your own no matter how hard you try. There comes a time when you have so many questions, with few or no answers.

You need to have the conviction and the faith that God has the power to help. Take an example of the Centurion, he only asked Jesus to speak a word and his servant would be healed because he had the faith that Jesus was the son of God and had the power to heal and restore health to the sick. You also need to do the same; believe that God can heal, save and help you through the situation you are going through.

The next step is to build faith in God. Jesus said that if you have faith, even just as little as the size of the mustard seed, doing wonders will not be a problem to you, as just a little measure of faith as this can even move mountains. Faith is about believing and certain of things you have not seen.

You need to believe that the word of God is true. When he said that he will help you, he meant every word, and this is a more reason why you have to build faith and have the conviction that he is the only one who can get you solutions for all your trouble. Once you have this assurance, it should be easy for you to open your mouth and prays.

You need to have faith that he can help you get out of a situation before He actually does. It is your faith that can heal and restore you, so you need to build and strengthen the faith first before you can take it to God in prayer. You cannot eat lemon and claim it taste like mango, the same way you cannot pray and doubt God.

The next thing you need to do is to pray. The Bible is clear that those who ask receive, those who seek find what they need and those who knock at the heavenly doors will always get an appropriate response. It does not matter what kind of problem you have, taking a simple step of faith, writing your problems down and taking it all to God in prayers is enough.

Remember one thing; Jesus said that all those who are weary and heavily loaded with trouble and sin should go to him. Take your time to learn from him, and never forget that His yoke is light and burden is easy. He is a perfect help in time of trouble.
