Students must first complete the online portion of the program and pass the exam with a minimum score of 84%. This provides the student with a completion certificate, which is required for entry into the classroom portion of the program. Classroom study includes debriefing, group discussions led by a qualified instructor, and coaching for practical application.
Classes are limited to six students per instructor for sufficient one-on-one instruction time. Participants who are studying this material for the first time can access optional modules for further study. Use of the modules could increase classroom time to approximately three hours. Students who do not need additional study can complete the course in about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
To complete this program, students must pass specific skills tests to earn certification. Participants receive a verification card when they successfully complete all components of this course. The card is valid for two years at the end of which time individuals should retrain to receive a new card.
