Basic Spanish Lesson Plans For Students

By Claudine Hodges

When one wants to teach a Spanish language class, he has to make sure that he goes into class prepared. Now the only way to be able to prepare for a class would be to of course make a lesson plan first. So if one is a first timer in this kind of thing, then here is a guide on how to make some very basic spanish lesson plans for students.

Now when making a basic lesson plan, one has to just stick to the basic lessons of the language. Of course the very first thing that he will be writing in his plan would be the introduction and the overview of the language. The students will be reviewing the alphabet a little bit and how it is applied here.

Now the next thing that the teacher will have to be teaching would be the breaking down of the letters and forming certain words. Before learning new words, the teacher would first have to teach the students about how to pronounce the syllables properly. Unlike in English, students will be pronouncing syllables a little bit differently for this language.

The next thing that one would have to teach would be vocabulary. In order to be able to speak the language, the teacher has to urge the students to learn new words in order to increase their vocabulary. The teacher must start by making them learn the basic words then they can go on to more advanced words later on.

Now once one has gotten the basics of word forming down, then he has to learn how to make a sentence. Now the first thing that one would be learning about would be the parts of the sentence. Of course the very first part of the lesson would be learning how to use different kinds of nouns like common nouns and proper nouns as well as some pronouns that can be used.

Now after the students have already learned the basic rules on how to use nouns and pronouns, the next thing to learn are adjectives. After learning about adjectives, then the next thing that will be learned would be verbs and adverbs. So if one would combine all the nouns, pronouns, adverbs, adjectives, and verbs, then he can be able to make a sentence.

Of course along with that, he will also be learning how to apply some simple grammar rules which will enable one to make an entire paragraph. Of course this will then lead to the teacher teaching the students some speaking exercises so that the students can be able to practice the language. The only way that one will be able to learn the language would be to just continue practicing and practicing.

So these are the most basic things that a teacher can put in his lesson plan. The main objective of a language class would be to help the students be able to speak the language and also write. Of course a teacher needs to come prepared when he goes to class.
