How To Win Blackjack Games Online

By Stacey Burt

There are several different schools of thought when it comes to gambling. When it comes to these schools of thought, information on how to win blackjack without counting cards is often one of the most prevalent requests. While such information does not actually exist, it is a request that cannot truly be granted. Although, there are many different scenarios believed to help players win.

Some of these include, the legal though never appreciated card counting, which in all honesty has landed many in a backroom somewhere which is never believed to be a pleasant experience. Players can also be banned for either a short probation period, or life, after being caught counting cards.

To be honest, counting cards isn't really necessary nor the only way to "cheat, " in the eyes of a casino. Most often those using an incredibly simple system do much better than those who count cards. This system, always hitting on amounts under "17, " and always standing on amounts over. The MIT Blackjack Team began winning so much with the system, it took disguises, backroom visits and getting kicked out of Las Vegas before the team could once again play together.

A good place to begin when learning about Blackjack, is to allow the dealer to provide the card count during play. While individuals can often add, it is far quicker to listen to the dealer recite the numbers, then decide whether to "hit, " or "stand, " sometimes called "stay." Not only tables, rules, guidelines and limits vary at different casinos, but also the language used during play.

Two of the most important rules which apply to most casinos is that players are never allowed to touch the cards, and must place money down on the table. A player can never directly exchange cards or chips directly with the dealer. Each transaction must take place by placing the chips, cards or money on the table. These rules are to prevent card counting as well to protect both players and casino staff.

While some casinos allow Blackjack dealers to provide instruction to new players, others do not. It is good to go to casinos which do as tables can often have different limits, rules, and guidelines. As such, when one can learn a quick lesson about the table and game right before play, one often also has an edge over others who may not be as aware about the rules and procedures of the game.

As such, those who often win more than lose tend to frequent "High Risk, " areas and play additional table games such as craps and poker. Whereas, those who play with a limited budget often prefer the slots and perhaps the occasional game of blackjack. When individuals play for fun rather than money, which should always be the case, the experience of play can be as rewarding as winning itself.

The best way to become better at any game, at a casino or when playing with friends, is to play as often as possible. Of course, as casinos take money, the occasional social game is often greatly appreciated among friends. Still, whether playing at a casino, or private home, taking a look at the MIT Blackjack Wikipedia and associated websites can also provide more depth when it comes to Blackjack, and other games.
